MVC Boxing classes have strict rules and regulations for both inside and outside the gymnasium environment, with every participant learning the importance of conducting themselves in a positive and disciplined manner.
Boxing engages muscles from all over your body in a full body workout. From your trapezius to your deltoids, your biceps, triceps, shoulders, abs, chest and back, you essentially recruit all your upper body muscles to throw punches, duck and dodge.
Your legs get in on the act with intense cardio, too, carrying you around the ring and assisting in evading your opponent, whether real or imagined. Your quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes work together to help you lunge in and out, and add power to your punches. The power you generate for any punch starts down below and drives upward from your calves in a kinetic chain. Boxing will increase your endurance and stamina however mostly it is a major stress reliever.

Many women just don't feel comfortable working out around men; they may feel judged or intimidated; or they simply want to work on particular areas of their body with more cardio.
Or simply use these sessions to 'network' and be 'inspired' with fellow women like-minded fitness enthusiasts.
1. Improve specific muscle strength and tone
Most of the cardio or high impact workout only focus on big muscles like core, quads, etc but overlook the smaller muscle groups which are important for our body alignment and support. Our BBX® is an anatomy based workout to work holistically on different muscle groups to build a body that’s sculpted all over
2. Improve flexibility
You may hate stretching but stretching can improve our muscular balance and posture, and so to decrease risk of injury.
3. Improve posture and relief from postural pains and strains
Do you have frozen shoulders, lower back or knees pain….? with our BBX® you will learn how to work on different muscles for better alignment and posture, and to ease tension in our bodies.

KIDS (Under 16)
The primary purpose for the kid’s class is to encourage and support physical exercise, self discipline, respect for the other person, and most of all, to have fun whilst participating in a healthy recreational activity.
All classes are strictly NON contact and no matter the age or gender, all kids WILL achieve an improved level of fitness, sharper reflexes, better hand/eye coordination, good balance and self control. They will gain self confidence, build better self esteem and improve concentration in other areas of their life, i.e. school.
MVC Boxing will provide a positive and safe environment that develops a sense of self worth and recognition, at the same time learning controlled self defence.
POP Boxing is a non-contact fitness circuit dedicated to helping people with their Parkinson's disease symptoms.
This class is based on the fundamentals of boxing from world class boxing trainers, to help people get fit, maintain balance, range of movement, slow Parkinson's disease progression and improve balance.
POP Boxing helps to keep people with Parkinson's connected to a likewise community.
People use personal trainers to assist them reach their individual health and fitness goals. A personal trainer will tailor an exercise program to meet your goals and personal health needs, teach you the best way to exercise and motivate you.
